Scope
The Aquatics Development Plan included a development strategy, a technical assessment and site analysis of six outdoor pool facilities and the projection of the life expectancy of each.
What we did
- Assessed the demand for recreation facilities for the estimated future population
- Completed technical assessments of existing Council facilities
- Carried out detailed consultation with schools, clubs, local committees, key stakeholder groups, service providers and Council staff
- Competed a detailed market and feasibility analysis
- Provided development options for the preferred concept
- Performed an existing facilities needs assessment, which identified any shortfall in facilities
