Scope

The City of Melbourne contracted @leisure to undertake a detailed redesign concept layout and prepare a management plan, maintenance and contractor checklist of Holland Park. This redesign improved the functionality for riders and addressed the issues identified in previous consultation, in addition, Council’s risk assessment was taken in to account.

What we did

  • Extensive telephone consultation with key stakeholders and workshops with staff were undertaken 
  • Undertook community consultation with the attendance of the users of the facilities
  • Provided a detailed redesign concept layout
  • Provided a management plan including a feature survey (of the completed track)
  • Developed a comprehensive checklist for contractors to use in monitoring and maintaining the track
  • Informed Council of the budget implications from the required short term solutions and proposed a detailed redesign
