Scope
The purpose of the project was to provide a well-founded, researched, planned regional soccer hub to meet the current and future demand for soccer in the City of Greater Dandenong. The project was initiated to test the business case for the hub to serve a wider catchment area.
What we did
- Analysed the catchments
- Provided costings for regional soccer hub and suggested how Council could support it
- Benchmarked similar facilities
- Surveyed key stakeholders and local members of the community
- Held workshops with Council and key stakeholders
- Provided Council with a management model, use schedule, pricing and cost apportionment assumptions
- Suggested possible sites for the soccer hub and what each site would require
